Two men are understood to have been injured in a shooting incident in a village in South Lanarkshire.
Officers from Police Scotland were called to an incident at a farm in Auldhouse, about three miles south of East Kilbride, at 08:10 on Tuesday.
It is believed the men were targeted during the incident and officers are understood to be following a positive line of inquiry.
The men's conditions are not yet known.
