Jimmy Savile's former flatmate and chauffeur Ray Teret has been charged with historic sex offences involving 15 teenage girls, police have said.
He was arrested by Greater Manchester Police earlier this week when he answered bail in relation to a separate set of allegations.
Police said on Wednesday the accusations were not linked to the national inquiry into abuse by disgraced broadcaster Savile.
