The Met Office has upgraded its heatwave warning in parts of the UK, as temperatures are set to rise above 30C (86F).
It said temperatures could reach or come very close to "Level 3 Heat Health Watch criteria" in London and south-east England.
This level requires social and healthcare services to take specific actions to help high-risk groups.
The very young, elderly and seriously ill are groups particularly at risk.
