A 55-year-old man - understood to be House of Commons Deputy Speaker Nigel Evans - has been rearrested on suspicion of indecent assault and sexual touching after answering bail today, Lancashire Police said.
Mr Evans, Conservative MP for Ribble Valley, was arrested in May on suspicion of rape and sexual assault.
He was arrested again in June on suspicion of three further counts of indecent assault.
He denies any wrongdoing.
