Publisher Dale gets assault caution

Iain Dale, Damian McBride's book publisher, has received a caution after admitting common assault following a scuffle with a protester.

Mr Dale and anti-nuclear campaigner Stuart Holmes tussled out of shot during a live television interview on Brighton seafront on Tuesday.

Mr Holmes had been standing behind former Labour spin doctor Mr McBride waving a banner.

The Labour Party is currently in Brighton for its annual conference.
