Deputy Defence Minister Admiral Nguyen Van Hien, who is also the VietnamPeople’s Navy Commander, on June 3 received visiting Pascale Sourisse,Senior Executive Vice-President of International Development of France’sThales Group.

At the meeting, host and guest agreedthat upholding the fine cooperation between the two sides, Thales Grouphas provided solutions serving Vietnam’s space aviation anddefence industry.

Pascale Sourisse briefed her hoston the group’s performance and announced that the group has selected AnhSao JSC to connect and expand cooperation with agencies under theDefence Ministry.

The group will also study themanufacturing of weapons suitable to Vietnam’s climate conditions whilehelping the Vietnamese side train experts to master Thales-made productsfor the Vietnam People’s Army, she added.

ThalesGroup is a French multinational company that designs and buildselectrical systems and provides services for aerospace, transport andsecurity markets.-VNA
