Nha Trang int’l sea, island tourism fair underway VNTimes

Domestic and foreign visitors are thronging to the first ever NhaTrang-Vietnam International Sea and Islands Tourism Fair that opened inNha Trang city, central Khanh Hoa province on June 8.

Themed “Sea, islands and tourism development”, the three-day fairhouses 100 stalls of domestic travel agencies, hotels, resorts andairlines from coastal cities and provinces as well as major tourism hubsnationwide, not to mention those run by companies from Malaysia,Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines, India, UAE and Bulgaria which cometo seek cooperation chances with Vietnamese partners.

A selection of inbound, outbound and domestic tours is also madeavailable, especially those to Vietnam ’s seas and islands as wellas localities with special hospitality services.

The ASEAN working group of tourist products and marketing convened a special meeting on the occasion.

At the same time, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism held asymposium on Vietnam ’s cruise tourism while the Fund for CentralRegion Development Research hosted a seminar entitled “Developingtourism products in central coastal region”.-VNA
