An emergency parachute system is believed to have been deployed by the pilot

A light aircraft has crash-landed in the rear garden of a home in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

An emergency system onboard the aircraft is believed to have been deployed, releasing a parachute to lower the plane down.

The pilot is reported to have escaped with minor injuries.

Emergency crews were called to Langdale Road in Up Hatherley at 10:45 BST.
