Stuart Hall is best known for his sports reporting and work on the 1970s TV show It's A Knockout
BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall who admitted indecently assaulting 13 girls, one aged nine, is due to be sentenced later.
Hall, 83, from Wilmslow, Cheshire, pleaded guilty to 14 offences which occurred between 1967 and 1985.
The ex-Radio Five Live reporter and It's A Knockout host initially insisted the allegations were "pernicious, callous, cruel and above all spurious".
One count of rape will lie on the court file.
'Disgraceful actions'
Preston Crown Court previously heard that in the 1980s Hall molested a nine-year-old girl by putting his hand up her clothing.
He also kissed a 13-year-old girl on the lips after saying to her: "People need to show thanks in other ways."
On another occasion in the 1970s he fondled the breast of a girl aged 16 or 17, the court was told.
Retired High Court judge Dame Linda Dobbs will lead an investigation for the BBC into Hall's conduct at the corporation.
At the time of the guilty pleas, a BBC spokesperson said the corporation was "appalled by the disgraceful actions of Stuart Hall".
Hall has been a familiar face and voice in British broadcasting for half a century, and was appointed OBE in the 2012 New Year Honours.
