Britain's big fishing bosses have lost a High Court battle with the government over reallocating fishing quotas.
The UK Association of Fish Producer Organisations had challenged a decision to reallocate unused quota worth more than £1m from big firms to small-scale fishermen.
It claimed the government could not do this without its consent.
Critics have described the association as representing "the fat cats who control over 90% of the quota".
