Man bailed over fatal Asda fight

A man arrested over the death of a 64-year-old man after a fight in an Asda car park has been bailed.


The victim was involved in an argument in the supermarket's disabled parking area in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire on Saturday, police said.


He was knocked to the ground and taken to hospital with head injuries. He died on Sunday.


Police said a 65-year-old man held on suspicion of manslaughter had been released on bail until 19 August.


The victim, from Sandy, was treated in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge. He has not been named.


Det Ch Insp Tim Redfearn from Bedfordshire Police said: "I know the car park would have been very busy on a Saturday afternoon, so if you were there please contact the police in confidence."
