Man charged over Asda car park death

A man has been charged with killing a 64-year-old man who died after a fight in an Asda car park.

Alan Watts, 65, of Lindsell Crescent, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, is accused of the manslaughter of Brian Holmes, from Sandy.

Mr Holmes suffered a fatal head injury after getting into a fight in the supermarket's disabled parking area on 3 August.

Mr Watts has been bailed to appear at Bedford Magistrates Court on 13 August.

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
