UN chemical weapons inspectors head out to resume their investigations in Damascus, after a day's delay.
The team's evidence-gathering operation was suspended on Tuesday due to security concerns.
On Monday the team's convoy was shot at by unidentified snipers.
They are set to return to the site of last week's suspected attack on the outskirts of Damascus on 21 August in which hundreds of people are reported to have died.
