An Israeli soldier has been abducted and killed by a Palestinian man in the West Bank, the Israeli military says.
The soldier was seized on Friday and his body found near the town of Qalqiliya on Saturday, a military spokesman told the AFP news agency.
A suspect has been arrested. The Israeli prime minister's spokesman named him on Twitter as Nidal Ammer, 42, who worked with the soldier.
The West Bank has been under Israeli military occupation since 1967.
