Mother charged with baby's murder

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of her baby daughter.

Seven-month-old Zoe Black was taken to hospital from a house on the Bestwood Park estate in Nottingham on Sunday morning, but was declared dead on arrival.

Amy Elizabeth Black, of Ketton Close, will appear at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

A post-mortem examination has not yet been carried out.

Nottinghamshire Police said a cordon at the scene has been reduced to allow businesses to access the area.
