An ally of billionaire Georgian Prime Minister Bidzi Ivanishvili has won the presidential election outright, exit polls suggest.
The poll said Giorgi Margvelashvili, a member of Mr Ivanishvili's Georgian Dream coalition had nearly 67% of the vote - avoiding the need for a run-off.
The election marks an end to a decade in power for pro-Western President Mikheil Saakashvili.
But constitutional changes are planned to reduce presidential powers.
