Source BBC News@ tienganhvui.com

A letter bomb sent to Northern Ireland's chief constable has been intercepted at a postal sorting office in County Antrim.

An army bomb team dealt with the device at Mallusk early on Friday.

It had been addressed to Matt Baggott at the police's headquarters in Knock, east Belfast.

Police have appealed for the public to be vigilant and report anything that looks suspicious.
