The two biggest teachers' unions have announced plans for a national strike in England before Christmas.
Members of the NUT and NASUWT will walk out in the Midlands, east of England and Yorkshire on 1 October.
Teachers in London and the north east will go on strike on 17 October.
There are also plans for a one-day national strike but a date for action has yet to be announced.
